When Zinashwerk and Tibebewerk (2 of 6 siblings) joined our program, their mother had given up and had started begging on the streets. The money she earned wasn’t even enough to pay for house rent and they were living in an unfinished house out of the mercy of the owners. Their mother stopped begging the day they got accepted into our program. She said hope is everything in life and she began work by fetching water for people. The timely nutritional and other material support extended to 2 of the children is enough to address the most pressing needs of the entire family. Their mother has come up with a unique business plan and is doing well with the IGA so far.
