Greatest Needs:
Medical attention & counseling

If true, Ahmed’s story is very sad. He says he lost both his parents 3 years ago in a bombing. When he heard the news, he fell and lost his sight in his left eye. Since then, he had been living with his uncle and came to Addis 2months ago. He came here because his right eye was showing signs of irritation and he wanted to get medical attention but his uncle refused to pay for that. He was hoping to get an individual or an organization to cover his medical costs. Someone told him to go to the Kebele and ask for help and through them, he came to the Emmanuel House. Now, his eye is not his only concern. He developed waist pain and headaches during his 2months stay on the streets. He thinks it’s because of the cold. Once he gets the medical treatment, he wants to go back home and utilize his family’s land.
